There are millions of pet bottles which add toxic waste to landfills and pollute the earth. However, since water and other beverages are sold in pet bottles, it looks like we can’t do without them. From the makers of HYmini, MINIWIZ, come recycled bottles in the form of Polli bricks which can be used as building materials.

The bottles are melted using technology for this, turned into pellets which then go into the making of uniformly sized bottles of a specific design which can be interlocked together to form construction strength bricks. As these are full of air, their usage results in better insulation and sound-proofing qualities.

These can be used to make fences, lamps, roofs, pots, skylights and houses. The scope of this innovative product is immense and the company has already been asked to design a building made from Polli bricks for the Taipei International Expo next year. Now that pet bottles can be usefully recycled, you don’t need to feel guilty when having that drink!
