An Eco-Friendly Toothbrush To Conserve Water

It is estimated that each person wastes approximately 2 gallons of water daily on oral hygiene. So if wastage is reduced it can help conserve a great deal of potable water. In conjunction with UTC Aqua free, Dina, is making a toothbrush with a cartridge system which will dispense liquid toothpaste. Dubbed the Lohan Freedom Brush this will help reduce wastage of 2 gallons of water per head per day.

Unveiled at the Go Green Expo at New York City a few days ago, this toothbrush will prove a boon for countries where there is perennial shortage of water. If a person reduces usage of tap water while brushing, it helps save even more water. And since water is an important part of the eco system, any elimination of waste is to welcome.
