Street Lights Powered By Discarded Batteries
Street lights use a lot of power but are a necessity. You know how awful it feels walking and even driving when the street lights are off. Now a South Korean designer named Sung Woo Park has come up with an environmentally friendly way to power street lights in a differently and save energy.
Low energy LED street lights can now be powered by discarded batteries. Yes the batteries that you are throwing away can be put into special tubes attached to this kind of street light. The batteries have to put in a particular way so that their poles match.
This Energy Seed street lights will use the left over power in these batteries to power the lights. Not only will the otherwise discarded batteries be put to good use, but power, too, will be saved. And while you may be tempted to throw the batteries into the trash, it would be easier to put them in the nearest street light, won’t it?
