Ikea’s Solig Solar Powered Lights

Ikea, whose name is synonymous with modern, minimalist furniture, has jumped on the green bandwagon by manufacturing solar powered lights. Their solar lights come in their normal cool designs and colors to match any décor.

They come in different shapes like round (globes), long (stick lights), orbs, posts, lamps and even a chain of lights for decorative purposes like in a garden, patio or anywhere outdoors. These can even be draped on trees. There are a total of nine different lights and most of them are for outdoor use. As they draw power from the sun, you can even take them anywhere, if you go camping, for example.

The Ikea lights run on rechargeable and replaceable batteries which can be charged from the sun. The lights are also LEDs so they use less power. You can even get funky looking colored lamps for any table-top or desk. They are all cheap, under $20, so extremely affordable.
