The Eco-Fan

| January 27, 2009 | 0 Comments

The Eco-Fan Original and Airplus are heat powered fans which circulate air to warm up your home. They circulate the air from a wood-burning stove instead of the air going up the chimney and getting out into the atmosphere or getting wasted.

The Eco-Fan has wide anodized aluminum blades, which will not rust. The fan does not use electricity or batteries to operate. It uses the warm air that rises to the top when the stove is burning and circulates it in the living area.

The fans have a small thermoelectric module which acts as a small generator to power the fan’s motor. When the module experiences a difference in temperature, it generates electricity and the fan starts moving. It is silent in operation and starts automatically. The only negative is that it should not get over-heated which it can get if the temperature gets around 350°C.
