Hoover has come out with a range of dishwashing machines in regular and slim sizes which are environmentally friendly. They are AAA rated for energy consumption and so are eco-friendly in the extreme. This particular model uses only 13 liters of water per cycle, so water consumption, too, is reduced.

This large capacity dishwasher can clean 15 place settings with a maxi-flex basket design which efficiently loads lots of crockery, cutlery and large pans, with minimum wasted space. It comes with five programmes, four temperature settings, as also an automatic sensor for maximum water and time savings. If you don’t have too many items, you can use it for half a load or if your dishes are not too dirty, you can program it for a rapid wash. It also has a delay start button, so you can load the machine and set it to wash up to nine hours later. This fully features machine is ideal for the eco aware consumer.

Another model is Nextra which is smaller and can take 12 place settings and uses only 10 liters of water. If you have limited space, you can go in for their slim line models (45 cms. wide) which can take 8 place settings. All the models are environmentally friendly and have similar basic features.
