The Eco-Friendly Hand Washing Machine

This little gadget does not use any power and even uses less water and detergent than hand washing garments. It works very basically and harks back to the simple life. It is like a mini washing machine because it can take a load of only 5 lbs. This is ideal if you have few clothes which you keep for hand washing.
You have to put in your clothes, detergent and ideally hot or warm water. After it is sealed the heat expands the air and the air then forces the water-detergent mixture through the clothes to clean them. For greater efficiency you can move the handle a few times.
Obviously, the clothes have to be rinsed out and then put out to dry. While it cannot replace a full featured automatic washing machine, it does have its uses. For one thing, it economizes on the use of water and electricity. It is also ideal if you don’t have place for a full-fledged washing machine, or live in a studio apartment or in a mobile home with no access to a laundromat.
