Eco-Friendly Audio Speakers Made of Bamboo

The Audioengine A5 Powered Bookshelf Speakers are an all in one speakers/amplifier combo. The sound is great and the speakers are eco friendly, being made of bamboo, though it does not look like bamboo because it is superheated through a special process and have a rich caramel color.
Even though they are termed bookshelf speakers, they can be used with any audio system, including CD/DVD players, television, gaming consoles and iPods. This company’s products are all eco-friendly because they use no stains or paints and the finish is sealed with hand-rubbed water-based satin polyurethane. They are 100 percent lead-free and the company is using environmentally friendly binders, resins and formaldehyde-free adhesives in its speaker cabinets and assembly.
Of their range of speakers, the bamboo ones are more environmentally friendly because bamboo comes from an easily grown renewable resource.
Though some may not think having a bamboo exterior on their speakers as stylish, in fact, these are quite nice to look at and makes a nice difference from the standard black casing as well doing its little bit for the environment. It will also go well if you happen to have similar color wood flooring or shelf that you may wish to place them on.
