USBCell Recharcheable Batteries
Most batteries which are used in normal households are thrown away and end up in landfill proving to be a toxic waste, releasing environmentally hazardous materials into the atmosphere. These may be alkaline or nickel-cadmium batteries. Even if a person uses rechargeable batteries they eventually cause polluted problems.
However USBCELL batteries can last up to 500 recharge cycles, thus making them more efficient to use. Plus they can be recharged from any USB port in any device. If you are using your computer, the batteries can recharge at the same time. They do not need any separate recharging device not an electricity outlet to be plugged in, saving on power and also avoiding the additional environmental hazard that the battery charger housing causes.
These batteries last longer than the usual rechargeable batteries and the fact that they are USB chargeable makes them environmentally friendly to use. The manufacturer also offers recycling facilities, so once you can get no more use out the batteries, you can send them back and they will be recycled.
They are simple to use as they come with a green cap which has to be partially removed before sticking the battery in the USB port. Once 90% charged the LED light will begin to flash, letting you know that the battery is going to be done shortly. While these batteries are great as being environmentally friendly, there is a downside to them as well. They do not give out as much power/as long a usage as the rechargeable Energizer batteries. You have to weight the downside with the benefits, because the Energizer batteries do need to be charged via the electric chargers.
