The new NEC Versa is neither a laptop nor a netbook – it is notebook computer, so it is in between the two. It is neither as heavy as a laptop nor as small as a netbook; in fact its size is just right. It is made in pink for the fashion conscious consumer, probably targeting female buyers.

It has curved edges and comes with an AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core RM-70 Processor, pre-loaded with Windows Vista. Wireless lan, excellent 3D graphics, 2 mega pixel web cam and an auto brightness control means you can stay always connected. The power off USB button and a one-touch short cut key to often used applications means that it conserves power and is environmentally friendly.

This is one manufacturer which makes sure that all the products have the energy star rating, so it is well aware of its ecological responsibilities.
