Sony Vaio Eco-Edition Notebook

| August 17, 2010 | 0 Comments

Sony’s Vaio is one of the top of the line branded notebooks. The company has launched its W 212 AX model, which is called the Eco Edition. And it rightly deserves this description because its plastic chassis is made of reprocessed plastic, which is made of 23 percent recycled CDs.

The smart carry case it comes in is made of recycled pet bottles. This handy netbook is light and easy to cary along and yet packs a powerful punch. Web browsing, social networking, emails, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 250 GB HDD – it has it all except for an optical drive. Its 10.1” LED screen is easy on the eyes.

Moreover, this netbook meets the Energy Star ratings. It does not even come with a printed manual, but an electronic one, thus saving on paper and printing and reducing its carbon footprint even further.
