Acer’s New S1 Eco-Friendly LED Monitors

Acer has just launched a range of extremely thin LED monitors, which are eco-friendly. Acer has used cutting edge technology for its S1 series of LED monitors. These are space saving and come in three sizes, 20 inch, 21.5 inch and 23 inch (not a lot of difference in the sizes).

These monitors give crisp and clean images and look sophisticated and stylish. The 20-inch model does not have full HD, but otherwise all the models have a high contrast range, quick response times and are economical in their use of power.

LED backlighting helps reduce power consumption by 68 percent and a 5 Energy Star rating. No poisonous halogen or mercury gases are used. The environmentally friendly monitors are packed in recyclable packaging materials. All plastic material uses are labeled for ease of future recycling.
