Samsung’s Restore Eco-Friendly Phone

Samsung has been doing its bit to green the environment. Its new Restore phone is another step in this direction. It has tied up with Sprint for this phone and meets Sprint’s stringent criteria for eco-friendly devices.
It is made of 77 percent recycled materials and its outer shell is made of 27 percent plastic. Samsung has done whatever it can to reduce the toxic components which go into the making of a mobile phone.
And the phone does not compromise in any way to be technologically advanced. It features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard when you want to email or text, while on the outside is like a regular phone. It also features a 2 megapixel camera with video recording, stereo Bluetooth, the capability of a 32 GB micro SD card and more.
The phone comes in 100 percent recyclable packaging printed with soy ink and an energy efficient charger. Its software will keep you updated on the latest eco-friendly information and tips. Sprint is offering this phone at only $50 with a two year contract.
