Rewave – Water Purifier and Desalinating Device

Imagine that you are at sea or in a coastal area and there is no potable drinking water available. But it is not a case of water, water everywhere, not a drop to drink. Because, thanks to this incredible handy Rewave, you can convert sea water into drinking water.

Designed by Yu-Hong Chen, this device not only desalinates the water but is eco-friendly because it recycles the water into drinking water and does not even consume any energy to do so. It uses wave power as a source of energy.

Using reverse osmosis, the sea water goes in from the aperture at the bottom and after the desalinating process is over, comes out from a pipe at the top. The filters, which need to be changed once they are dirty, are also made from recycled materials. So you can theoretically get a pure and limitless supply of drinking water from the sea.

An Eco-Friendly Toothbrush To Conserve Water

Dubbed the Lohan Freedom Brush this will help reduce wastage of 2 gallons of water per head per day.

A Space and Water Saving Futuristic Toilet

There are many parts of the world where space is a premium. And even in places with large land masses, there may be areas which can use a small toilet cum sink which will save both space and water. Designed by Dang Jingwei of Home Core this one looks futuristic as well.

The eco-friendly toilet cum sink is a commode with a sink on the top. When you want to use the toilet you can swivel the sink out of the way. Then when you need to use the sink, you put it back above the toilet. It comes with a mirror and table attached. It may be a bit small and quirky though it can probably save a great deal of water.
