Solar Charger for Apple Products

Apple products have their own following. A while back a solar charger for Apple’s products like the iPhone and iPod was released. Made by Novothink and called Novothink’s Solar Surge this is the first such product which has been licensed by Apple.

There are separate chargers for the iPhone and the iPod. Like other solar charging products, these chargers are great for using outdoors or in places which get a lot of sunlight. They are also good for traveling and whenever you are in a place where you do not have easy access to electricity. These can even be used in countries where the electricity outputs and plugs and pins are different.

Sony Ericsson Launches Elm and Hazel Eco-Friendly Mobile Phones

Sony Ericsson has a GreenHeart series of mobile phones which are environmentally friendly and it has just launched two new models in this series, Elm and Hazel. These phones are made out of recycled plastics, don’t use hazardous chemicals and come e-manuals, thus eliminating the use of paper.

They also come with the EP300 GreenHeart low power consumption charger. In addition, they come with the Walk Mate eco application, and with a green calculator, and use minimized packaging, condensed user guide and waterborne paint.
