chess-pieces

When a vehicle’s life is over, it ends up in that dark place where autos are wrecked after salvageable parts are removed from them. Have you ever thought what happens to the junked pieces? Wonder no more.<!–more–>

Armando Ramirez decided to recycle various parts from autos into intricate and interesting chess pieces. Each piece is meticulously designed and if you a chess player or collector this chess set can be an inimitable addition to your collection. These heavy and unusually designed pieces can enliven a chess game even further.

Would you believe that each chess set is individually designed? In these days of modern assembly line manufacture this one is all set to become a collector’s item. And to think it is made from auto parts which would otherwise have found their way into some landfill! Just goes to show what imagination coupled with hard work can do. This chess set is not only for the eco-friendly consumer but also for the chess aficionado.
