The Leech Plug – Stops Power Wastage

How many times does it happen that you leave gadgets like mobiles and music players, particularly the ones you use when on the go, to be charged and forget about them till it is time to take them out. This results in a waste of electricity. It also shortens the battery life of the device, because when it keeps on charging, it also keeps on discharging. The leech plug takes care of this problem.

Designed by RISD student, Conor Klein, this outlet plug is innovative in that it reduces unnecessary power wastage and so is environmentally friendly. You plug in the device that needs to be charged. And when it full charged, the outlet ejects the plug.

Currently this little gadget is not commercially available. It is a concept whose time has come when people are looking out for devices which are earth friendly and reduce the burden on power.
