Sanyo’s Eco-Friendly Hand Warmers

In the chill of winter hands get extremely cold and frosty and while you can and should wear warm gloves, it is often difficult to use cell phones or type on a laptop or netbook keyboard with gloved hands. Now Sanyo has introduced its eco-friendly Eneloop Kairo handwarmer to get round this problem.

This small gadget is the size of a deck of playing cards and can be used to warm your hands. Available in two types, one which will warm from one side only and other which is a double sided warmer. The gadget works on rechargeable batteries and comes with heat settings which are adjustable.

What’s more the Two-sided Hand Warmer can also be used as a battery charger and comes 2 AA batteries which can be used in other devices. Sanyo’s eneloop range uses nickel-metal hydride batteries which combine the benefits of traditional dry batteries along with recharge ability. Even after two years of use these eco-friendly batteries retain the capacity to charge up to 70 percent unlike others which slowly die out and have to be replaced, thus adding to toxic waste.
